The Mastretta MXT designed by Daniel Mastretta is a lightweight two-seater sports car from Mexico that weighs in at just 900kg and has a top speed of 150 mph.

Mid engined and powered by a 4 cylinder, 2.0 litre turbocharged 16 valve DOHC engine it develops nearly 240 bhp pushing it on to 60 mph from rest in less than 5.0secs.

An ideal 56% rear, 44% front weight distribution guarantees great braking, handling and direct racecar feel.

Lifestyle Automotive is the company licensed to import and distribute the cars in Europe and company boss Tom Martin is confident of success with the Mastretta MXT.

A total of eighty RHD vehicles will be built in the next twelve months and UK deliveries of this exclusive sports car will start in May 2009.

Sports car manufacturer of Mastretta with its 150mph MXT coupe, is the first car ever to be designed and made in Mexico. It will makes its world debut in London this coming July 22, in its ‘penultimate prototype’ form. RHD production is expected to start this January 2009, and only limited to 80 cars per year. As well as its impressive top speed, the MXT can hit 60mph in under five seconds and its 2.0-litre supercharged Duratec engine produces 240bhp.
