This site features the latest news and information about the man, the Report, the scandals, the enemies and any other Drudgery you care to add.

Here comes BigJournalism.com, Drudge protege Andrew Breitbart's new media site that debuted today. Breitbart, the Washington Times columnist and mogul of news aggregator Breitbart.com, Breitbart.tv, Big Hollywood and Big Government, made his name as a Drudge Report editor. Breitbart told us in a phone interview that he's going to war with biased old-media — and even new media types, from The New York Times to Anderson Cooper to the Huffington...

I tried reaching the link below, which I got from a tweet from Drudge Report.Curiously, Bezeq (which unfortunately bought out Actcom - my original service provider since 1994) does not allow me to reach the link. A firewall claims that the link includes 'forbidden content' like betting and alcohol. The link goes to AP News. In fact, I had to search Drudge's Tweet on Google just to get to the link

As President Obama brokered a last-minute deal with China, India, and other nations to jointly fight global warming, American conservatives continued their assault on reason when it comes to climate science. All through the week, right-wingers from Rush Limbaugh to Fox News highlighted the fact that Copenhagen, the site of the international climate negotiations, received [...]

Bacchus was the Roman god of wine, Baucus is the Senator from Montana, but both seem to have something in common:A speech by Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) on health care has been generating buzz on the Internet, as the Drudge Report and others are suggesting that Baucus was slurring his speech and possibly "intoxicated" during his remarks."DRUNK WITH POWER? Last month, Politico conducted an “interview” with former Vice President Dick Cheney. As ThinkProgress noted at the time, the paper’s top reporters — Jim VandeHei and Mike Allen — transcribed Cheney’s attacks on Obama without challenge, criticism, or rebuttal. Indeed, Cheney has been using Politico as his print version of Fox News. In May, Politico’s Allen [...]

Hilarious. Yesterday the Drudge Report linked to Tim Lambert’s Deltoid blog at ScienceBlogs — because Drudge mistakenly thought that Lambert’s post debunking the New Zealand Climate Science Coalition’s dishonesty was actually supporting them. As soon as Drudge realized Deltoid wasn’t a climate denial site, he removed the link. (Just in case you think the Drudge Report isn’t promoting an agenda.) But not before Lambert’s blog was swamped with...

I don't know if Drudge was intentionally doing this (he probably was), but here are two items that appeared on the Drudge Report this evening:Copenhagen climate summit: 1,200 limos, 140 private planes and caviar wedgesandChristmas trees banned for climate summitNow admittedly, the ban on Christmas trees has more to do with political correctness than with the climate impact of the trees. But just imagine the dichotomy, on a day when the Obama...

The Wall Street Journal, Fox News anchors, conservative Web news purveyor Matt Drudge, and conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh promulgate a discredited claim by health care lobbyist Betsy McCaughey that the economic recovery bill pending in Congress includes a provision that would have the government "essentially dictate treatments" for sick Americans. McCaughey wrote a commentary for Bloomberg News on February 9 that makes the claim...

The right-wing tsk tsk tskers are at it again. This time it is a deep bow of respect President Barack Obama offered when greeting Japanese emperor Akihito this weekend in Tokyo. The Drudge Report suggested that global warming is "junk science," by linking to a Washington Times editorial that falsely claims a series of emails that were reportedly stolen from the UK's Climate Research Unit [CRU] show that global warming is an "unproven theory." In fact, the validity of climate science is not hinged on the contents of these emails, some of which conservative media have taken out of context; reports from the...
