Highly doubtful. If any one of the 10 remaining intelligent Americans tuned in to this debacle of a press conference yesterday afternoon, we would have quickly surmised that all the clues pointed, with a large neon flashing sign, to "NO". Let's take a look at some of the possible clues that might have tipped us off. The "expert", Tom Biscardi, who started the conference looked like he stepped right out of the back of a Gypsy wagon ready to sell some snake oil to all the world. It was hard to...Read Full Story
The two men who claimed to have found the carcass of Bigfoot have surfaced to say: Hey, it was just a joke.
Matt Whitton has been fired from his job as a police officer because of his role in the hoax.
Not everyone is laughing.
In an exclusive interview with CNN affiliate WSB, the two hoaxers — car salesman Rick Dyer and now-fired police officer Matt Whitton — said the whole situation began as a joke and then got out of hand.
“It’s just a big hoax, a big joke,” Dyer...Read Full Story
Matthew Whitton, Rick Dyer and Tom Biscardi revealed pretty much nothing at their much-awaited Press Conference Friday in Palo Alto, Calif. Although the two men, who claim to have found Bigfoot in the remote woods of Northern Georgia addressed the press, they were unable to produce valid evidence to prove their outrageous claims. Instead they told the story of their shock over finding the body and how they were circled by other "Bigfoots" as they hauled the carcass to civilization. Still...Read Full Story
So we're a bit confused. Today, there was a huge press conference in Palo Alto held by Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer who claim to have the body of a yeti, preserved in some freezer. CNN, ABC et al are covering the event. What's the big deal? We've had a sasquach working in our office for 4 months and not one news outlet has picked up the story. This is probably a good thing. Too many distractions would no doubt affect office productivity. Here are some photos taken of this beautiful creature...Read Full Story
Yesterday, a police officer and former corrections officer in north Georgia unveiled photos of what they claim to be one wild discovery. The duo claim to have "discovered" the body of Bigfoot or, more accurately, a bigfoot. Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, a pair of self-described "Bigfoot-hunting hobbyists" say that they found the 7 foot, 7 inch, 500 pound body in the woods, along with several similar living creatures. However, the two have thus far refused to disclose the location of the...Read Full Story

SANOSTEE — There's only one rule when it comes to hunting for Bigfoot: Don't. Whether you call it Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Skookums or one of the more than 60 names American Indian tribes have given the legendary beast, the harder you look, the less likely it is you'll find him, said Frank Smith, supervisor of the Sanostee Senior Center and keeper of tales from the various recent sightings.
Years ago, the good people at the Imaginary Foundation gifted me a wonderful knee-high Garden Bigfoot statue that stands guard at my lair. Now, Loren Coleman reports that its makers, Design Toscano, have supersized their sasquatch statue. The new offering is 6 feet tall! Loren Coleman has the details at Cryptomundo. "Coming Soon: Giant Garden [...]
"This must clearly be regarded now as the most significant book ever authored on the genre of Bigfoot/Sasquatch and Abominable Snowmen/Yeti films! This takes us far beyond Snowbeast and Harry and the Hendersons into the great archives of motion pictures and documentaries known and nearly unknown on hairy hominoids." ~ Loren Coleman

It was bad enough to see them terrorizing Florida, Oregon, Washington State, Alaska and the other places visited in Season 1 by the sasquatch hunters of “Finding Bigfoot,” a documentary series on Animal Planet. It could pretty much be anything, and when the experts concluded that the subject ...
