Hampered by injuries, the Pittsburgh Penguins get some good news with defenceman Sergei Gonchar and center Maxime Talbot returning to the line-up on Thursday in a game against the Ottawa Senators.

According to the Penguins' Web site, forward Maxime Talbot, on injured reserve all season due to offseason shoulder surgery, is hoping to return to the lineup Thursday when the team travels to Ottawa.
Talbot has not played since scoring two goals in a 2-1 win against the Red Wings in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, June 12.
Last season, Talbot had 22 points (12 goals, 10 assists) in 75 games.

Imagine this. Some good injury-related news.
Injured Penguins defenseman Sergei Gonchar (above) and forward Maxime Talbot wil return to the lineup tonight when the Penguins play in Ottawa tonight.
But, it's two steps forwards, one step back. Defenseman Mark Eaton, is questionable due to back spasms. As a result, the team recalled defenseman Chris Lee from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

That gentleman in the red jersey is "superstar" Maxime Talbot. He is skating by himself this morning in what we assume is a red non-contact jersey.
Talbot is expected to return to the lineup in late November/early December. He is recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.
