I Cannot Believe He Is Still The Mayor

I still cannot believe the citizens of Detroit have not removed Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick from office. I commented on this pompous, hip-hop, political opportunist in an earlier posting.  I cannot believe this is the guy trying to lead recall efforts. Doesn't anyone else in Detroit care?  Well, if Detroit wants to keep Kilpatrick as mayor, than so be it.  He is their problem.  I take solace in the fact that I will never have to worry about him running for national office.
