On Tuesday Nov. 4th, 2008 Lt. Governor Beverly Perdue (D) became the First Female Governor EVER in the state of North Carolina , of which President-Elect Obama won by the way. VoteMeCool showed its support for Governor-Elect Perdue early in the game because I knew that she was the BEST choice for N.C. versus her opponent Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory (R).
