The local library should be at the top of your to-do lists everyday, not just summer. The Simi Valley Library is chock full of free things to do, and a source of inexpensive entertainment. In Simi, there is a Summer Reading Program which includes bi/weekly entertainment and rewards for children for reading. Also, there is a "Friends of the Library" bookstore where you can get books, games, magazines for CHEAP. I picked up two board games for $2.00 yesterday, and a good book for .50 cents. My husband reminded me that I had had my children's real names on the blog. Cautious as he is, I relented and went back and changed them, because, well it gave me another reason to write. In the Adventure Guides, children and parents become someone else. They choose a very special name, name themselves, and has been in my case, name their parents.
