She garnered press attention in 2007 for her blog, McCain Blogette, which she used to document life on the campaign trail. In 2009, she began contributing to The Daily Beast.

"I am not only turned off by people who voted for Barack Obama, but I am also turned off by people who voted for my dad—or, more so, obsessive supporters of my dad."
