Meghan McCain Blogs About Republican Congressional Hottie

It looks like Meghan McCain might be nursing a crush on the Internet's favorite congressional hottie, Aaron Schock (R-IL).

In a gushing half-commentary, half-interview posted to McCain's Daily Beast blog , the Arizona senator's daughter stops short of saying she's found her soulmate in the 27-year-old congressman with abs of steel. At 24, McCain has repeatedly opined the Republican party's lack of youth appeal, so McCain sees the power of a guy like Schock.
Precisely because of his age, Schock has been able to better communicate with young people (a cause that is very close to my heart): whether it’s his decision not to run negative campaign ads, his ability to present issues in a way that applies specifically to my generation, or his use of the Internet. Last month, Schock was named "Hottest Freshman" congressman by Huffington Post , edging out 34-year-old Glenn Nye (D-VA) with nearly 10,000 votes cast. If Meghan really does have a thing for Schock, she'll have a lot of competition, but maybe the two were just meant for each other.

They're both young, moderate Republicans, and Meghan points out "At the end of the day, Congressman Schock is only three years older than me."
