Megan Suzanne Vice (aka Ahwatukee Sue) called into the Tom Leykis Show in November of 2006 and confessed to having killed an ex-lover over child support. The murdered man was previously believed to have committed suicide. She was tracked down and is being charged with murder.

Megan Suzanne Vice's Confession

It sucks when excellent radio happens to be absolutely horrific.  Under the name "Atawaukee Sue," Megan Suzanne Vice told radio host Tom Leykis two years ago that she shot her ex-lover when he refused to pay her child support--and got away with it.
Sue says she managed to convince the police that the murdered man had shot himself. She claimed on the radio that his blood alcohol content helped her case (...I guess case is the wrong word, as she didn't have to go to court).

Tom Leykis announced on yesterday's broadcast that the anonymous caller now has a name--Megan Suzanne Vice--and police are investigating her possible involvement in her baby's father's murder.

But was it all an elaborate hoax?  Leykis is a shock jock radio personality who isn't exactly popular within the feminist community.  Perhaps the caller was trying to make a statement about men needing to watch their backs; she does start out her story with, "you know that saying about a woman scorned?"

Soon after the call happened, Geraldo asked Leykis point-blank if the whole Megan Suzanne Vice thing was his own doing.  After all, the murder confession certainly helped his ratings.  Leykis is correct when he points out that he'd be in serious trouble for misusing the police if that were the case.  Leykis put up $5000 of his own money for any helpful information about the case.  It looks like his tactics have worked, as Vice is now being questioned.

She was not arrested or charged. She is not in police custody. Read: http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/story/122645
Just goes to show how ridiculously corrupt the U.S. "justice" system is when a murder is committed and the police don't even investigate it just because some scheming, conniving woman lies to them.
