John McCain again reached out to Sarah Palin to join his team, but this time she took her good old time before saying yes. After two weeks of inner circle debating, Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin has decided to join John McCain and other national leaders to help reshape the Republican Party. The announcement was made by Republican Congressional Whip Eric Cantor: I am pleased to announce that Governor Palin has joined the National Council for a New America's panel of experts. When NCNA was announced last week, we spoke about a dynamic organization that worked to constantly bring in new people and innovative ideas. ... Read Full Story

Oh My! The people at SarahPac are now working hard to stop a private citizen and Sarah Palin supporter from raising money for her defense. In just a few days the "official" Sarah Palin Legal Defense Fund was to be unveiled. Or as a spokesperson told me on April 5, "A legal defense fund should be up and running soon so keep your eyes out. I don't have the details to reveal now. The fund is a grassroots effort led by Alaskans, and many Alaskans and Americans have contacted us to inquire how they can assist." But a similar "grassroots effort" led by a ... Read Full Story

It really happened folks. Sarah Palin, the Sarah Palin, the effective Governor (what an oxymoron in my state!) of Alaska- came to the city of Auburn, New York (pictured) on Saturday morning. It was our first ever "Founders Day" celebration and we are staking claim to Alaska. William H. Seward, Secretary of State under Lincoln and Johnson, purchased Alaska from Russia in 1867 for 7.2 million. He had a worldly vision ahead of his time, although he was ridiculed by the press for wasting money on that place at the time. The press, hahaha, they never can get it right! Well, this man Seward ... Read Full Story

An Alaska Democratic state lawmaker has written a letter to a state trooper official calling for an investigation into possible witness tampering related to the state's ethics probe of Gov. Sarah Palin by people working for or close to Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign. In a letter Wednesday to Alaska state trooper director Audie Holloway, Democratic Rep. Les Gara accused the campaign of Republican presidential candidate John McCain of intimidating witnesses and/or pressuring people close to Palin, McCain’s vice presidential running mate, not to comply with subpoenas seeking testimony about whether Palin improperly fired her public safety commissioner. "Starting after August 29, certain staff ... Read Full Story

Former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin on Wednesday did not rule out running for president alongside Fox News host Glenn Beck in 2012. Palin was asked during an interview with Fox News’s “Fox & Friends” about the chances that she “would run on a ticket with Fox’s own Glenn Beck,” as the conservative outlet Newsmax reported might be a possibility in 2012. “I saw that, I saw that; he probably got a kick out of that,” Palin said. “It was just a hoot...

I just had a terrific interview with Governor Sarah Palin this afternoon. Her new book, Going Rogue, came out today. I’d like to say we talked a lot about her book, but I did not get it until 10:00 a.m. and had family stuff to take care of. I gave it a quick thumbing through, but largely asked questions based on readers submissions via twitter etc. Up front, I asked Governor Palin what she wanted people to take away from her book. She said...

Here is a funny post about ex-Governor Sarah Palin from across the pond. The title says it all — Tracing Sarah Palin’s socialist roots Yes, because Palin, while governor, administered the dividend distribution from the rents charged by Alaska to various natural resource extracting companies. While the author demonstrates a severe lack of understanding of commerce (such as the difference between expenses and profits), the really amusing thing...
