Josh Brolin in VH1s 14th Annual Critics Choice Awards - Arrivals

Celebrity magazine In Touch is claiming that it had photos showing Josh Brolin getting overly familiar with a female fan in New Orleans, thousands of miles away from wife Diane Lane.

In this week's issue, the magazine says it has not only photos, but sources confirming that Brolin, who's in town shooting Jonah Hex, and NOLA native Melissa Green partied the night away and spent the night together.

From In Touch's website:
On May 21, Josh, who is on location in New Orleans filming Jonah Hex, partied at the Royal Street Inn with local Melissa Green — then took her back to another location to hang out at 11:35 p.m. The next morning, at 7:23 a.m., “They left together,” a witness tells In Touch. “Josh looked like he hadn’t slept at all. She was wearing the same outfit as the night before and looked embarrassed.” [...]

"Melissa sat in his lap, and they were kissing each other on the mouth. He nibbled her ears and was caressing her. He was tickling her as she wrapped her legs around him."
That said, it's extremely hard to tell what's going on in the one photo In Touch has up right now, which essentially shows Brolin in a bar, where he may or may not be near a woman. We'll wait for some official response from Brolin and Lane's reps before slapping the scarlet letter on Brolin quite yet.

The film is directed by Jimmy Hayward (”Horton Hears a Who”), which is his live-action debut. The character of Jonah Hex is based on the comic book ... Read Full Story

NOT all comic books are about crimefighters in capes and tights. Among those defying that convention is Jonah Hex, which is instead set in the Wild West. Hex, a fictional anti-hero, was born in 1838 and becomes a bounty hunter in 1866 after he is left horribly scarred on one side of his face. The DC Comics character first appeared in 1972 and a live-action film is now being made with Josh Brolin in the lead role, as you may have read here on The Geek Files previously. The first pictures of Brolin as the blood-spattered gunslinger have surfaced on Lainey Gossip , tacked ... Read Full Story

It's impossible to top an icon like John Wayne, but the Coen Bros' True Grit is shaping up to have a better supporting cast than the original did. (Hey, Wayne supposedly didn't like Kim Darby either.) Variety has just announced that Matt Damon and Josh Brolin are in talks to join Jeff Bridges in the Coens' remake. Bridges will play Rooster Cogburn, while Damon is in talks to play La Boeuf, the Texas Ranger who pairs up with Cogburn and...

Many times an actor will express interest in a specific project, but the union of the two never really comes to fruition. A situation just like that surfaced recently in the choice to go with Clancy Brown for Guy Ritchie's Lobo as opposed to an interested Jeffrey Dean Morgan. A story in the same vein just might be in the works as The Playlist picked up on some info revealed in comedian Adam Corrolla's podcast when producer Lucas Foster (Law...

I almost can't take this news. The brothers Coen -- Joel and Ethan -- are among the best filmmakers out there. This isn't opinion; it is a fact, supported by such stellar efforts as "The Big Lebowski," "A Serious Man" and the Oscar-winning adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's novel, "No Country For Old Men." So when [...]

Two pretty tasty bits of casting today. First up, it's that big reunion of the cast from The Soloist we've all been waiting for! Jamie Foxx has joined the cast of Due Date, the next movie from Todd Phillips. That'll put him back in the frame with Robert Downey Jr., and this time in a matchup that people might actually want to see. Because the Oscar-baity Soloist is well and good, but seeing the two bounce off each other in a comedy sounds a...

Variety reports that Josh Brolin and Matt Damon are looking to re-team with Joel and Ethan Coen for their upcoming "adaptation" of True Grit. OK, so Damon has never worked with the Coens before, but he did have a small scene in Finding Forrester, which starred Sean Connery who was in The Rock with Nicolas Cage, so it's practically a return. Brolin is certainly returning, having worked with the Coens on their award-winning No Country For Old...
