Everyone is wondering what happened to Matt Lauer, but if you watched the whole "Today" show you already know. As his co-host, Meredith Vieira, explained; Lauer was injured in a bicycling accident. According to NBC big wigs, Matt wrecked his bike when a deer jumped in front of him. Vieira joked that the deer was hired by the competition. Lauer's injuries were no laughing matter though.
