Metroid Prime Producer Interested in Multiplayer Possibilities
After Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, it seemed as if Retro Studios felt finished with the series. But there might be some-more Prime nonetheless to come, according to a new interview with Kotaku. Producer Kensuke Tanabe seems to see a destiny in the series, and has a little ideas for the direction. “As all I take partial in is the Prime series, I am not able of commenting on the total Metroid series,” he said. “But we will keep deliberation multiplayer for the Prime series. For instance, I think I can come up with a little singular ideas regulating the Morph Ball, which is a specific ability of Samus.”
The Prime array has attempted online multiplayer prior to with Metroid Prime Hunters for the DS, which worked well sufficient deliberation the hardware limitations, but wasn’t grown at Retro. Hearing which the group still has ideas for intensity directions in destiny games might meant a lapse to the array eventually. We know they’re open to it, and they’re even being encouraged to continue which work by the array creator. Only time will discuss it if they drop behind in to the Metroid pool.
