The key to catching the big bass is, don't get frustrated with the small fish, use your bigger presentations, 8 inch watermelon seed lizards, 6 inch swim baits. Mexico has some great bass fishing and the experience can be one you'll take with you for forever. Like any trip you'll want to make sure that you have the right equipment in order to catch the most amount of fish. SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 74 degrees; 0.68’ low. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are good on minnows at night. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on minnows, nightcrawlers, and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.
