As we all know, tattoos are permanent. Unless, of course, you are prepared to go through the expense and pain of having them removed later in life after you feel like it was a mistake or the tattoo is deemed distaseful. For the most part, when a person gets a tattoo, it is a meaningful experience and the intent is to keep and show the artwork for a lifetime. And it really doesn't matter if your a drunk sailor, a biker, or a badgirl- you got the tattoo for a reason. Even a jailhouse tattoo done with minimal and crude equipment can result in a beautiful piece of artwork. Tattoos can tell a story or commemorate events in a persons life or the life of a loved one. It seems like after the first one is done it becomes easier to keep adding to the work. Tattooing your body can become a lifelong project. Occasionally you see someone with a "Bad Tattoo" or some work that just didn't turn out right, and having more than one of these mistakes on your body can be downright ugly.
