Michael Jackson is the King of Pop, or he once was. Jackson was an American entertainer, popular as a solo artist throughout the 80s and 90s, and well into the 21st century. He started singing as a young boy in the group, Jackson 5, with his siblings, then embarked on a very successful solo career. Although his life has been littered with controversy, from his extensive amount of obvious plastic surgery, to turmoil with his family, to rumors about his sexual orientation and his love for children, Jackson still manages to be one of the most well-known pop singers in history.
