It was announced today that after 15 years, "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" would no longer be producing new episodes. While this is definitely sad news for fans of bad special effects and repurposed Japanese footage, it's also weird because I had no idea this show was still on.

The MMPR was a live-action TV series in America that grew out of the Japanaese Super Sentai franchise - Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger .
The series changed its cast and plot every year from 1996, giving birth to the Power Rangers franchise, and continues to this day.
