Mike Martz

Fox announced today that former Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz will spend this season as an analyst on the network. Martz will team up with Ron Pitts will Ron Pitts as the No. 7 pair of announcers on NFL on FOX, according to ESPN.com’s ranking. It should be interesting to see if Fox allows Martz to announce Bears games. He worked with NFL Network in 2009, which was a year before he landed in the windy city. Back in the summer I projected the Bears to be a dysfunctional but enjoyable team, a club that finished short of .500 but gave us a helluva ride with our fantasy teams. On the field, it’s been the exact opposite.
