Squirrels eat LED lights, but not red ones
FREDERICTON, New Brunswick, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Gray squirrels gobbling up outdoor LED Christmas lights are confounding officials in the eastern Canadian city of Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Bruce McCormack, general manager of a business improvement group told the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. this is the fourth year the rodents are feasting on the lights, although he says they're particular.

The U.S. Coast Guard mobilized a search Wednesday for the crew of a Navy T-34 training aircraft. Greg Rajan: I would say the two players on the current Hooks roster who have a shot to make it to Houston next year are Jason Castro and Chia-Jen Lo. Both are guys on the fast track, as you can see by how little time they spent in the A-ball ranks before coming to Corpus Christi.
