Sarah Palin has been cleared of any wrongdoing for the firing of her public safety commissioner. A report has cleared Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin of ethics violations in the firing of her public safety commissioner. Released Monday, the report says there is no probable cause to believe Palin or any other state official violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with the firing. The report was prepared by Timothy Petumenos, an independent counsel for the Alaska Personnel Board. It seems as though someone who breaks the law in Alaska actually has to pay the price. If only that were the case here in ... Read Full Story

It seems that Sarah “Lame and Tall” Palin and her husband, Todd “First Dud” Palin don’t like folk messin’ with their family members. An Alaska legislative panel, in a report released late yesterday, found that Gov. Palin abused her power and violated a section of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act. Seems Palin’s husband, Todd-Boy, was running amok within the governor’s office using her advisers and other information in an attempt to get a state trooper, Mike Wooten, fired. The state tropper in question was engaged in a bitter divorce with Gov. Palin’s sister. Enter, Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan. He was fired by ... Read Full Story

According to CNN, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will not cooperate with a "tainted" legislative investigation into the firing of her public safety commissioner. What is totally preposterous is that the McCain camp has accused supporters of Democratic rival Barack Obama of manipulating the probe for political motivations. Sarah Palin is fighting allegations she improperly tried to force the firing of her former brother-in-law. Former Palin Press Secretary Meg Stapleton told reporters in Anchorage that the power probe has been "hijacked" by "Obama operatives" for the Democratic presidential nominee -- namely, Alaska state Sen. Hollis French, the Democratic lawmaker managing the investigation and an Obama ... Read Full Story

The heart of the Palin "Troopergate" Report involves her attempting to get her Ex Brother-in-Law AK State Trooper Mike Wooten, terminated while he and Palin's sister (Wooten's Ex) were going through an extremely bitter Divorce. When Wooten's former Supervisor AK Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan refused to do her evil bidding, she fired Monegan instead. CNN being the BOLD, Fact-Finding Network that it is, assigned Anchor Drew Griffin to interview Wooten allowing him to defend himself and clear his name, by presenting his side of the story. Check out the video below. Listen as he sets the record straight. Breaking News: Palin is found ... Read Full Story

That’s going to be the question over the next 20 or so days. The bipartisan Alaska Legislative Council voted 12-0 to release the report on the investigation into Sarah Palin’s arm-twisting to get a state trooper fired , and her husband Todd’s assistance therewith. I wonder how pleased McCain is with his Veep vetting right now. I wonder whether he now wishes he had selected someone who isn’t a female replica of George W. Bush, right down to the class and cultural warfare McCain once eschewed. The report contains four findings: The first concludes that Palin violated the state’s executive branch ethics act, which ...
