On Wednesday, the NFL suspended Detroit Lions RB Mikel Leshoure for the first two games of the 2012 season. Leshoure will also be dinged two additional game checks on top of the 2 games. Getty Images According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the NFL has suspended Detroit Lions running back Mikel Leshoure for the first two games of the 2012 regular season, for violating the league substance abuse policy.  He’ll also have his paychecks for the first four games of the season taken away.
