Here is my review of the somewhat new Nintendo DS game I got for Christmas, Ultimate Mortal Kombat. Enjoy :) Story Well, seeing as this is a Mortal Kombat game, and a remake of MK3, there really isn't a story present. But, it can be assumed that you are a warrior that has to battle a bunch of other warriors to win the title of supreme warrior. Or something along those lines. A much cliched, yet solid story line. Brad: Way back in the first few days of this project, when we eliminated tons of games in the lightning round, both Street Fighter games got thrown out because they were games requiring six buttons, on a system where the controller only had three. The changes that were made from the arcade versions in order to get them to work on the Genesis ultimately ruined the experience. The classic beat-em-up series continued in 1995 with this gem. Personally it’s one of my favourite beat-em-ups, though perhaps that’s not saying very much as I don’t really play them all that much. I couldn’t believe it when I walked into GameStop and saw this game on the wall. The logo itself has a mysterious power that just pulls you into wondering wow, where the hell has it been all this time.
