The recently funded MAST (Micro Autonomous Systems and Technology) consortium is a group of scientist working on tiny intelligence gathering robots. Army snipers hunting insurgents in Iraq were under orders to "bait" their targets with suspicious materials, such as detonation cords, and then kill whoever picked up the items, according to the defense attorney for a soldier accused of planting evidence on an Iraqi he killed. A B-52 bomber flying from North Dakota to Louisiana had five nuclear weapons stored on it which were not discovered until the plane landed. As of yet, no one knows how the mistake was made or by whom. The airmen are being temporarily suspended during the investigation.
