Parvathy Omanakuttan crowns Miss South India
Hailing from God’s own country, Kerala, Parvathy Omana Kuttan won the Femina Miss India contest held on April, 2008. She carried forward the legacy of beauty queens from India like Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan (1994), Priyanka Chopra (2000), Diana Hayden (1997) and Yukta Mookhey (1999) by being the 1st runner-up of Miss World 2008.
Recently, she graced the occasion of Femina Miss South India, 2009 and crowned the finalists among the contenders. The function was organized at HITEX International Conventions Centre, Hyderabad, on 28th December. During the time, she also spent a few minutes talking to the media.
Film Artists like Sangeetha, Lakshmi Roy, Sameeksha, Jyothirmayee, Ragasiya participated in the event. Singers Smitha and Krish presented some hit musical numbers. Actor Suresh also participated in the event.
