Misty Recovering After Surgery, Kim Kardashian Pining For Return

Kim Kardashian was booted out of the dancing competition. Beach volleyball star Misty May-Treanor ironically had the accident of her life on the dance floor and thus exited “Dancing with the Stars” prematurely to undergo surgery for a torn Achilles tendon.
Reality television star Kim Kardashian, who was booted out of the dancing competition last week, has said she would absolutely return if she was asked to fill up the now empty place.
Misty May-Treanor, 31, esteemed professional volleyball player and proud recipient of two Olympic gold medals, the second having been won this summer in Beijing, injured herself seriously while rehearsing with professional dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy last Friday.

The athlete attempted to remain on the show but the pain prevented her from participating any further and she left the competition. She underwent surgery Tuesday morning for her torn Achilles tendon and is currently recovering at her home.
Fortunately, the injury will not affect her volleyball career. She is looking at nine months of recovery and rehabilitation before she will be able to perform on the volleyball court again.

Misty’s accident also marks the first time a participant has left “Dancing with the Stars” prematurely – usually, celebrity dancers and their partners leave the show couple by couple as the judges and the public weigh in on their weekly performances.
Kim Kardashian, star of the reality television series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” left the ballroom last week, after she and Mark Ballas earned a modest 17 out of 30 points for their rumba routine.
Asked by Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show if she would return to “Dancing” should she be asked to replace Misty, Kardashian replied she would “totally” return in hopes that this time around she would have a chance to show how good a dancer she can be.
Kardashian went on to say it was a pity that her return, should it happen, would be due to the sad circumstances of Misty’s accident, whom she said she loved very much and had kept in touch with.
