Rick Osentoski-US PRESSWIRE
With Josh Tomlin now shut down for the rest of the season, someone had to take his place in the rotation for his scheduled start Saturday. Apparently, that someone is Mitch Talbot .
Talbot, 27, had a rough start to the 2011 season, going 2-6 with a 6.33 ERA in 11 outings (to be fair, it was a...Read Full Story
By The Common Man Due to his wonky elbow, Mitch Talbot has only had two starts, and has thus not contributed much to the Indians’ suprising success in 2011. We saw it with Hafner’s “tired” shoulder. We saw it in the weeks leading up to Jake...Read Full Story

“The Itch” has been shelved.
We touched on it earlier today, but the end of the Mitch Talbot era in the rotation didn’t come as we expected. Instead, he was granted a stay of execution
The much maligned right-hander has been placed on the 15-day DL with a lower back strain. Mysterious, considering the fact that Talbot is out of options and has been pitching as if he doesn’t want to be on this roster. Regardless, the lower back problem has flared up at the right time for him and...Read Full Story
