A community portal about Monty Python and the Holy Grail with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a comedy film released in 1975. It was written, performed, and directed by Monty Python, an English comedy group, during a gap between the third and the final series of their popular BBC television series Monty Python's Flying Circus. The group's first film, And Now For Something Completely Different, had been a compilation of sketches from the television series; in contrast, Holy Grail was composed of wholly original material. It generally spoofs the legends of King Arthur's quest to find the Holy Grail, and the film was a success on its initial run and retains a large-scale cult following today. It also ranks 49th among IMDb's list of top 250 films of all time. The film was the inspiration for the 2005-Present Tony Award -winning musical Spamalot written by the Python Eric Idle. This film is number 40 on Bravo's "100 Funniest Movies". A collectible card game using the characters and plot of the movie was released by Kenzer & Company in 1996.
So, we asked ourselves, what could London possibly do to match the massive spectacle that Beijing put on for the Opening and Closing ceremonies? It couldn't possibly do anything to compare to the sheer scale of the Chinese efforts so (leaving aside the dire business with the double decker bus...

If you were playing a word association game, you would never say “Intelligent” after the clue “Paris Hilton”.
If you haven’t seen this must-see video, immediately take a look. Paris Hilton is great, intelligent, and well-spoken. Pretty funny. She has a great position on energy. (It immediately made me think of a scene in another movie.)
Paris Hilton
Paris’ “well-spokenness” took me back and was great (funny).
I immediately thought of the “repressing” scene of the serfs in Monty...

I am a child of the '70's, as they say, so I grew up watching Monty Python's Flying Circus on television, and of course one of the funniest movies of all time was released during this period, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Here in Las Vegas at the dazzling Wynn property we have the opportunity to see Spamalot, which is a side splitting show that is "lovingly ripped off" from the Holy Grail film. Spamalot was written by Eric Idle of Monty Python fame, and it has won both a Grammy for its...
