LONDON (Reuters Life!) - Morrissey, the former frontman of British band The Smiths, has returned to the stage after collapsing during a concert in Britain last weekend. Morrissey performed at London's Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, joking about his recent collapse. The 50-year-old was taken to a Swindon hospital after suffering breathing difficulties and slumping to the ground on Saturday during a gig in the southern England town. Rock legend Morrissey marched off a stage after he was pelted with a plastic beer container. The singer recently collapsed on a UK stage and had to be helped off by band members to waiting paramedics. Morrissey was performing on a Liverpool stage and had got through just two tracks from his set when he was struck by the container and marched off. Singer Morrissey has returned to his tour after collapsing on stage. The 50-year-old performed at London's Royal Albert Hall after collapsing in front of 1,000 fans at a concert in Swindon. He was unconscious and helped from the stage by band members to be treated by paramedics on site. He was then taken to the Great Western Hospital and stayed overnight.
