This looks pretty kool actually. Ed Boon, creator of the Mortal Kombat series recently showed that one of the changes in the series will be to have Batman and Superman in the next game. I would assume this is to compete with Soul Calibur 4's inclusion of Yoda and Darth Vader. MCV UK reports that Warner Bros. has offered Midway $33 million in order to acquire its main US assets, including the Mortal Kombat franchise and Midway’s Chicago and Seattle studios.

Under the ‘stalking horse’ agreement, Warner could acquire the Mortal Kombat series and Midway’s Chicago and Seattle studios. Midway’s Newcastle and San Diego studios are not included in the deal, nor is the firm’s TNA series.
