The Paton Company is getting ready for another big challenge, with the introduction of a new 500cc four-cylinder Grand Prix racer powered by the unique Paton V4 two-stroke engine.
It's obviously a motorcycle for track use only, but with its 190 bhp power delivery it's more than capable of generating adrenalin for any motorcycle fan lucky enough to ride it.

Spanish rider rounds off his South East Asia tour with a ceremony in Jakarta. Jorge Lorenzo was the guest of honour at an event to unveil the new Jupiter Z this week, as he appeared at a 5,700 capacity convention centre in Jakarta.
The 22 year-old, who started his South East Asia tour in Bangkok last week, took part in a spectacular show and was dressed in his Fiat Yamaha colours.

Chris Vermeulen and Tom Sykes, Kawasaki's new WSB riding line up for 2010, attended a two day test at Cartagena in Spain on Monday and Tuesday, and made the most of the ideal weather conditions which they enjoyed.
New electronics was one major feature of focus for Vermeulen, plus tests to make final decisions on basic machine set-up before completion of two further tests in Spain in December.

The MotoGP World Champion proved very competitive, winning four of the nine time trials. Valentino Rossi finished second in the Rally de Monza, which he competed in this weekend. Driving a Ford Focus WRC, the Italian rider was very fast throughout the race, taking four out of nine stage wins, but two errors on special stages 4 and 5 handed victory to Dindo Capello, driving a Citröen C4.

MotoGP World Championship 2009 runner-up receives a hero’s reception on the first day of his South East Asian trip.
Jorge Lorenzo was met by a huge crowd in Thailand on Friday as he started his South East Asia trip with a visit to the Yamaha Motor Factory in Bangkok, before spending the afternoon at the capital city’s most important dealership, the Yamaha Rider’s Club.

2009 was an epic year for Britain’s Leon Camier, winning BSB with a record number of race wins and also racing for his BSB team as a wildcard in WSB; and then topping it all off with two rides for the factory Aprilia racing team.
