Temperatures from low to high 40s, sunny and windy in the afternoon. Yep, I meant gremlins, not leprechauns which would have been in keeping with the theme of today's ride! I decided this morning to give group rides one more chance by deciding to participate in the ColoradoBeemer's Saint Patrick's Day ride to the annual Saint Patrick's Day parade down in Colorado Springs. I was heading towards Morrison on the west side of Denver and about halfway there my brakes warning light telling me there was something amiss with my tail lights came on! Beautiful riding day! Temperatures ranged from low-50s to mid-70s! Sunny for most of the day. I started my ride today a little before 0800hrs and got back home around 1530hrs. I first rode over to the HarborFreight store near the intersection of Alameda Avenue and I-225 and picked up a reflective vest for $10 and some air tool adapters. Cheap tools but the requirements are not that stringent for what I have in mind for ... Read Full Story

Temperatures from mid-40s to mid 50s F°, overcast over Denver, sunny in the mountains. A glorious motorcycling weather day, even better than yesterday which I could not ride during due to it being my turn to watch the boys while the wife got her kitchen pass to see her friends. The ride started off sometime after 0830 with the initial objective of just going downtown to take a more recent picture of the Blue Bear who is a feature at the Denver Convention Center: Security Guard who came to shoo me away and who asked to have his picture taken After visiting the bear, ...
