From Germany comes announcement F1 Champion Michael Schumacher is designing new motorcycle helmet.

Michael Schumacher has joined in and given his approval on a new motorcycle racing helmet. The Formula One Champion driver is helping design a new motorcycle helmet meant specifically for racing with the emphasis on lightweight materials and aerodynamic styling. The Schuberth Race motorcycle helmet has made its official debut this week.


Schuberth has announced the seven-time F1 champion will be at the fore front with the German company's development of motorcycle helmets. The company said Schumacher will assist in developing new models of motorcycle racing helmets. Schuberth also announced the prices for these special motorcycle helmets will be set at a future time but you can expect these helmets to be expensive. The availability of the new helmets has not been decided upon as of this time. if the demand is there I expect these helmets will become available if you have plenty of cash.

In a move many have found surprising Schumacher has turned his attention to pro-amateur motorcycle races in Europe recently. I think this is a good and logical move for the F1 Champion to make. I mean todays super bikes have the same eyeball peeling power and acceleration as a formula One car and are more of a blast to ride.


So what does this new motorcycle helmet venture mean to to the average guy who slips on a helmet before a ride? This is a new helmet that is bound to become coveted headgear for motorcycle riders around the world not matter what the price and availability is.
