Rizla Welcomes Pirelli Control Tyres
RIZLA SUZUKI is looking forward to racing on Pirelli rubber as the new one make tyre rule for British Superbikes kicks in for the 2008 season.
The move to Pirelli is welcomed as it will enable Rizla Suzuki to consider running as a wild card entry at British rounds of the World Superbike Championship. Rizla Suzuki Team Manager Jack Valentine worked in World Superbikes for two seasons and has first hand experience with the Italian tyre brand. He said: “They provide a good service in World Superbike and I can’t see there being any problems in BSB as they provide a good standard of tyre. We just need to get on and work with them.
