Okay, I think we've all been feeling entirely too happy around here, so time to bum you out with this: "Here's Proof Originality Doesn't Pay in Hollywood" : Some enterprising Wikipedia contributor decided to pull together a list of the 50 films with the highest worldwide gross of this decade so far. Here's the thing: One has to go all the way down to No. 15 on the list, Disney/Pixar's "Finding Nemo," before finding one created from original material -- in other words, not a sequel, remake or... "Terminator Salvation" Blu-ray review

I've been spinning my way through the Terminator Salvation Blu-ray disc , mostly intrigued by the R-rated director's cut, which is a mere three minutes longer than the theatrical cut. Many of these additions are just a few seconds of extra violence (e.g., a knife thrust into a body then pulled out), but there are a few more-substantial sequences: A longer conversation in Resistance Command Headquarters; a brief topless scene by Moon Bloodgood when her Blair Williams character and Sam... It sure did look for all the world like Terminator would find a happy home at Warner Bros. a couple years ago.
