Paramount hasn't put out an official "start of production" press release yet, but Production Weekly just ran an update confirming that Marvel's Thor movie, being directed by Kenneth Branagh (pictured above), will start shooting in Los Angeles in January. For the reimagining of Clash of the Titans, Warner Bros. and director Louis Leterrier (2008's The Incredible Hulk) have assembled an impressive cast.
