Universal Pictures Stage Productions, Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions in association with Weinstein Live Entertainment announced today that Dayton Tavares and Liam Redhead will join the cast of the 10-time Tony Award-winning Billy Elliot the Musical, both in the role of ‘Billy.'  

"Jersey Boys" finally made it to Detroit Saturday night at the Fisher Theatre, telling a story of blue-collar musical success with so much emotional resonance locally, its amazing it took it so long to play here. (The musical runs through Jan. 23).  

The Monday after a big holiday week on Broadway usually brings news of broken box-office records. Thanksgiving week proved no exception, with several eye-popping grosses, particularly for "Wicked" at the Gershwin Theatre. Its producers say the musical prequel to "The Wizard of Oz" took in more than $2 million last week. Other shows shattering house records were "The Lion King," with $1.69 million at the Minskoff Theatre, and "Billy Elliot...

The Washington, DC engagement of JERSEY BOYS broke the box office record at the National Theatre for the second time. For the week ending Sunday, November 29, grossing $1,287,573, the musical broke its own record set in October 2009.
