Burma or Myanmar?
As much of the world tries to help the survivors of the recent devastating cyclone, the Canadian media refers to the affected country as Burma while their U.S. counterparts use the name Myanmar. Wouldn’t it be a lot easier, from a communication perspective, if everyone used the same name? db
