Talented singer Hwayobi will make a comeback as early as January after a two year recess.
She is resting at home after surgery last month on a vocal cord cystoma.
Her throat condition has drastically improved recently and the hospital gave her its release to sing, although not too excessively.
An official at her management said, “The surgery went well and she will be able to sing after a month’s rest.

Details of the film adaptation of Usuta Kyosuke’s nonsensical gag manga “Pyu to Fuku! Jaguar” have been revealed.
The movie is scheduled to open with the New Year, and will star Kaname Jun in the role of the recorder-playing Jaguar. Saito Maccoi is directing.
The rest of the main cast includes Omura Manabu as Piyohiko, Takahashi Mai as Takana, and Ogi Hiroaki (of comedy duo Ogiyahagi) as Hammer.
This is Ogi’s first time in a major role in either television or film.

Koike Teppei (of WaT) has been given his first lead role in a television drama. In December, Fuji TV will broadcast a special called “Mada Minu Chichi e, Haha e: Tamashii de Utau Aoi Umi,” which tells the story of Okinawan tenor Tsutomu Aragaki.
Aragaki, who is 54, was born to a Mexican-American soldier and a Japanese woman. Shortly after his birth, an accident turned him completely blind.

Actress Sato Aiko has married a horse riding instructor named Numata Takuma.
The two registered their marriage on Wednesday, which happened to be Sato’s 30th birthday.
Sato and Numata met in June 2006 through Sato’s hobby of horseback riding.
Their relationship developed, and he also helped her attain a rank 3 certification in riding.
According to Sato’s agency, the two are currently looking for a new home.
