Dale Earnhardt Jr. Wins Budweiser Shootout At Daytona!

Dale Earnhardt Jr. in his first race with Hendrick Motor Sports won the Budweiser Shootout Saturday Night at the Daytona Motor Speedway. Junior took the lead early on in the first segment of the race before yielding to Tony Stewart. He then took the lead back with a few laps left and held on to win. Earnhardt Jr. was heard saying over his radio that he loved the race car. This has got to be very satisfying in his first race since leaving DEI. You could hear the crowd roar as he took the checkered flag at the same track that took the life of his father Dale Earnhardt. Qualyfing begins tomorrow on Fox for the Dayton 500 next week.
