The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), is a military alliance established by the signing of the North Atlantic Treaty on 4 April 1949. The NATO headquarters are in Brussels, Belgium, and the organization constitutes a system of collective defense whereby its member states agree to mutual defense in response to an attack by any external party.

KHUZDAR (Online) – Unknown armed men torched several trailers carrying supplies for Afghanistan-based NATO troops in Khuzdar and Mangochar, however no loss of life was reported in the incident. According to information received here, unknown people set two trailers in Khuzdar and three in Mangochar on fire and windscreens of vehicles were also broken. The police after getting the information of the incident reached the site.It may be recalled...

Secretary of State Clinton travels to Brussels December 4, 2009 to attend a meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of Foreign Ministers to be held at NATO Headquarters.
