The two hour season premiere of NBC Heroes Season 4 begins tonight and I am hoping that this season revitalizes the show which still has enormous potential and still has a loyal following. Before we go into what may be in store for the Heroes this season, let’s recap where we left off in Season 3. The first half of the season pitted Heroes and Villains against each other as Angela Petrelli, Noah Bennet, Peter, Hiro, Matt and others wound up trying to thwart and stop Arthur Petrelli, Mohinder, and the escapees from Level 5 detention at the company. Sylar wound up bouncing between ... Read Full Story

In anticipation for Heroes return to television tonight after taking a week off I read the latest graphic novel #110 this morning called Viewpoints. This weeks issue is all about Gabriel Gray aka Sylar attempting to change his life and work for The Company, this comic is about when Sylar attempted his first and only solo mission. The comic specifically points out that it took place shortly after Episode Five Angels and Monsters TV Episode where Noah Bennett had tried to force the Vortex man to kill Sylar. The comic opens up with Sylar walking the corridors of a Primatech Facility in New York ... Read Full Story

With Heroes Season 4 returning to television next Monday I decided to post my hopes and expectations for the season. I would hope to see “The Company” get reestablished by Noah with a one of us, and one of them paired to capture the more dangerous people with abilities who have actively chosen to become criminals. I would like to see the show not have any “End of the world” plots and continue focusing on the individual decisions and choices people with special abilities may make in their daily lives. Show people in every day situations where an ability may give them the chance ... Read Full Story

Mini-review: Samuel drives a wedge between Claire and Noah, Peter rekindles Emma’s passion for healing and Matt tries to get Sylar killed … again. Recap: Season four picked up some momentum Monday night, with Sylar and Claire’s storylines gaining focus and momentum. The above-average episode drew strength from Sylar, whose battle for supremacy over Matt Parkman’s body finally reached something of a conclusion. But Claire’s story was also...

It's time to move on from the events that happened in the infamous roadside dinner in Texas to the events that transpired two weeks ago on Heroes. While the three-character arc per episode has made storylines a bit cohesive, it makes the show a little bit confusing to follow because of the sporadic continuity. But if you've stuck by this show through thick and thin, then you're already used to this minor glitch. Now on to the highlights of...

We've been teased since early October about a major character death coming to NBC's "Heroes," and now reports are coming in that it'll be... Adrian Pasdar's Nathan Petrelli. The 23 of you who still watch will doubtless be scratching your heads and asking, "Didn't they do that last season?" Well... yes. Nathan was killed at the end of season three during a fight against the power-sucking villain Sylar (Zachary Quinto). When Sylar was defeated...

This week’s episode wasn’t bad at all, for the simple reason that — like last week’s installment — it sort of underscored one of the larger problems of Heroes itself. (How’s that for a backhanded compliment?) This time out, Heroes sorta figured out what to do with Hiro. Because for the past four seasons, Hiro has

"Hysterical Blindness" picks up from last week's cliffhanger with Sylar crawling out of the grave of "Nathan" after Millie ordered a hitman to kill. The newly resurrected Sylar, unfortunately, has no idea who he is and why he's in the woods and it only gets worse as Baltimore cop Lubbock (Ernie Hudson) finds out that he's watchmaker and murderer Gabriel Grey.  To sum it up, four things happened on Heroes this week: Claire kissed a girl, Sylar...

Things are gradually picking up on Heroes, thanks to Carnie Samuel Sullivan, who has unleashed yet another set of skills, and Sylar, who still thrives as a villain even though he's just existing in Nathan's body and living in Matt's head. I've always found Samuel interesting simply because there's just so much to unearth about the new mystery guy. But Sylar, I never thought that he could do any more damage than messing with people's head.

Tonight on "Heroes," we've got some creepy carnies looking for a Magic Compass. No word on if they smell like cabbage. When we last left our intrepid Heroes, Sylar's "body" was burned and only Angela, Matt and Noah knew that Nathan was dead and Sylar is now Nathan. They thought Matt could control him but we saw a flash at the end of the season that made us (and Mama Petrelli) think Sylar might not be quiiiiite under control. Hiro and Ando...
