OTTAWA – James Van Riemsdyk and Mason Raymond scored in the shootout Saturday night while James Reimer stopped both shots he faced as the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Ottawa Senators 4-3.
Reimer was the best player for the Leafs (15-11-3) making 47 saves during regulation and overtime. He was supported with goals from Van Riemsdyk, Phil Kessel and Jake Gardiner.
Clarke MacArthur, Colin Greening and Erik Karlsson scored for the Senators (11-14-4), and Craig Anderson made 28 saves.

TAMPA, Fla. – Mark Scheifele scored 1:04 into overtime and the Winnipeg Jets beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 on Saturday night.
Scheifele scored from the near post off a nifty pass by Blake Wheeler.
Wheeler also had a goal for Winnipeg, which finished 4-2 on its longest road trip of the season. The Jets were coming off a 5-2 loss Thursday night at Florida.

VANCOUVER – Chris Higgins, known for being a consummate team player, decided to get selfish Friday night.
But the out-of-character move paid off as he scored at 3:41 of overtime to give the Vancouver Canucks a 3-2 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes in NHL action Friday night.
