South Riding… Community Of The Week
It is interesting to me that some neighborhoods in Loudoun County are so large that they take over the identity of the area. South Riding in south east Loudoun County is one of those areas.
Where Is South Riding Located?
South Riding is located off of route 50 directly south of the Dulles Airport and not far from route 28. Though there are many access points to enter the community, the main entrance is off of Loudoun County Parkway. If you are coming from northern Loudoun down Loudoun County Parkway, the roads do not currently connect.
Tell Me About The Homes!
The community was built and is still being built exclusively by Toll Brothers. This is the same builder who built Belmont Country Club, Loudoun Valley Estates, and Farmwell Hunt. Therefore, you can expect to see many of the same styles of homes in each community.
The community has around 6,000 homes currently. They offer small to large townhomes, carriage homes, single family, and estate homes. Many of the homes back to their award winning Dan Maples 18 hole championship golf course.
What’s The Skinny???
What makes South Riding an attractive community for many home buyers is it’s great location to many major roads allowing for an easy commute. When you drive through South Riding you quickly recognize that it is a family oriented community built with local schools, 2 shopping centers, day care, and activities for the kids.
