Nailah Franklin has been missing since Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Family and police are frantically searching for her. She's 28 years old and was a sales representative for Eli Lilly and Company, a drug manufacturer. Police are investigating her former boyfriend, who left Nailah threatening telephone messages before she went missing.

Please contact authorities if you have any information that can help in the search for Nailah Franklin. Nailah is 5'2" tall and weighs approximately 110 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes and drives a 2005 Chevrolet Impala.

Forgive me for taking so long to get the update to you regarding Nailah Franklin. Police have arrested an acqaintance of a woman whose body was found week after going missing for nine days, but the ex-boyfriend’s charges are not related to the case. Reginald Potts, 30, has been charged with misdemeanor battery. He was arrested on Friday in the 800 block of South Wabash Avenue, police News Affairs officers told CBS 2. Another case of a missing (found dead) woman that I recently covered was the Nailah Franklin case. Sad, sad case which was not really covered by national media. Black blogs and the Chicago papers (since she’s from Chicago) covered the story. But Nailah did not have blond hair and blue eyes, so even though she was a beautiful, educated, missing sister, the national media was not interested in her case.
