Napoleon Harris

Kansas City Chiefs middle linebacker Napoleon Harris has been startled by the speculation that he may not be a part of the starting squad in 2008 .  Judging by the fact that he was the team's leading tackler last year, he has good reason to be surprised by recent media reports indicating he's out in the middle.  But, as it currently stands, he is the starting middle linebacker for the team, at least according to the coaches. Via the Kansas City Star: The Chiefs plan to use Harris, a five-year NFL veteran with the Raiders and Vikings, as their starting middle linebacker. He would replace Kawika Mitchell, an unrestricted free agent. The Chiefs may try to re-sign Mitchell, who has yet to make any free-agent visits. From Pro Football Talk: Harris was a first-round pick of the Raiders in 2002, and was traded to the Vikings in 2005 as part of the Randy Moss deal.
