What Will The Future Bring Under Obama?

by Ali Sina Obama ran on the platform of change. Although he never defined that change, he left enough clues so that we can make an educated guess about what that change would entail. The most important clue is his mental profile. We need to understand his mind, the way he thinks and how he perceives the world in order to calculate what he’s likely to do. Mr. Obama most likely suffers from narcissistic personality disorder. It means he fantasizes about unlimited success, power and... Read Full Story

You Didn't Mean It?

Cluster B Personality Disorders ( Sociopathy/Moral Insanity , Narcissism , Borderline , etc) are some of the embodiments of evil , in my opinion. Yes, its a mental illness - genetic or acquired, I am not sure which - but that is no reason to feel sorry. For instance, my current favorite Cluster B target - Obama - showed his true colors in the last year or so. Well, actually to anyone like me who's spent a lifetime being victimized by these people and then BLAMED when I speak the truth or... Read Full Story

Married To A Narcissist & Waiting For Good Times To Return?

By Diane England, Ph.D. When you said your vows, what were you expecting? I suspect if you were like most women, you thought you were entering a partnership. You would enjoy shared power, right? I bet you’ve discovered something quite different, though. I bet he likes to have power over you, isn’t that so? And to ensure he achieves and maintains this, he might well use emotional abuse, verbal abuse, economic abuse, and even sexual abuse, too. The thing is, you might not even realize that... Echoes of Narcissism

by Michael Sigman "I'm the greatest man in the world." -- Will Ferrell's goofball character in the basketball spoof "Semi Pro," upon incorrectly concluding that the team he owns will be joining the NBA According to myth, Narcissus became the first narcissist when he stared deeply into a reflecting pool and fell in love with the image of the gorgeous man he beheld. By the time he realized that the object of his affections was himself, it was too late. Even the attractive, ardent Echo... Read Full Story

Vandalizing the Images of Others

by Kathy Krajco Then there is the other side of the coin, which is an even more menacing sign of bad faith — what narcissists do to the images of others. Consumed with pathological envy, they make themselves look good the bogus way, by making others look bad. Overall, individuals high in narcissism displayed amplified responses to social comparison information, experiencing greater positive affect from downward comparisons and greater hostile affect from upward comparisons. — Bogart, L.M... Deconstructing Obama, Pt. 3: Lincoln and the Narcissist

From:  therawness.com
I found a great piece by Sam Vaknin, Ph.D and narcissism expert, diagnosing Obama with extreme narcissism. It’s really worth the time it takes to read it in detail, as I think he makes a very plausible case that I think is at least worth consideration, given the impact the man will have over our lives over the next four years. Admittedly, if one’s sole source of Obama information is the media and their hagiographic portrayal of the man, it may seem to be a very off-base portrayal, but as... Read Full Story

ned the narcissistic nail

ned the narcissistic nail Originally uploaded by lisa makes J Psychiatr Res. 2009 Jan 18. [Epub ahead of print] Interpersonal problems associated with narcissism among psychiatric outpatients. Narcissistic personality disorder is the subject of extensive discussion in the literature. Yet, the validity of this diagnostic category remains questionable. This is owed, in large part, to the relative absence of empirical work that has examined narcissism in clinical samples. Descriptions and... Read Full Story
