Natalie Du Toit is a South African Swimmer, and a disabled athlete. She was a gold medalist at the 2004 Paralympic Games, and will be the first ever amputee to qualify for the Olympics, she will compete in Beijing in the 2008 Olympic Games. In 2001, her left leg was amputated from the knee after a car drove into her while she was riding her scooter to school. She swims without the aid of a prosthetic limb.
