Friends of Natasha Richardson keen to name a rose after the star

Friends of late actress Natasha Richardson are reportedly keen to name a rose after the star.

The actress died seven months ago from a brain haemorrhage following a skiing accident in Canada.

A pal of the star said: "We all want something to remember Natasha, and there's no one who better resembles a perfect English rose than her."

Richardson was married to actor Liam Neeson, with whom she has two sons, and was first married to Robert Fox.

The pal added: "The whole family loves the idea of having a rose named after her, including Robert, who always remained on good terms with her and was devastated by her death."
