So the shit hit the fan at my web host this morning. After a long, torturous string of emails with “tech support” (and I use the term as loosely as possible) it seems to have been established that a rack of servers went down last night, and somehow this resulted in the corruption of this here blog’s database. There was a backup, but that backup was not done last night (of course.) So my post from yesterday, which of course was by far my best one to date (IMHO) has apparently been permanently lost. Shit.
